EATON — On Sunday, Sept. 29, the Preble County Historical Society hosted the Fall Gathering Festival and Historical Days. Even though the rain dampened the event and kept crowds away, the volunteers and presenters made the best of itm according to PCHS Executive Director Lisa White. Programs consisted of a Native American pow wow, chair caning, antiques, pioneer butter making, corn bread, live music by Ethan Moles and The Price Brothers and more. “A special thanks to the volunteers for working through the rain with us, making the best of the situation that was out of our control,” White added.
