Drug arrest made following investigation

EATON — A recent traffic stop in Eaton led to an arrest on felony drug trafficking and other charges.

According to an Eaton Police Division press release, last Tuesday, Sept. 17, the EPD conducted a short-term drug trafficking investigation involving Christopher Fulton. A traffic stop was conducted and K9 Rossi gave a positive alert to the odor of narcotics coming from the vehicle.

Fulton is being charged with aggravated trafficking in drugs, a second-degree felony; aggravated possession of drugs, a second-degree felony, and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia, a fourth-degree misdemeanor.

Fulton remained in custody at the Preble County Jail at press time.
