BROOKVILLE — Junior Sidney Sprada has been named the Gameday Grille & Patio SWBL Female Athlete of the Week.
Sprada has helped the Brookville volleyball team get off to a 6-0 start in the first rotation of Buckeye Division play and to a 12-1 overall record.
Sprada ranks second in the SWBL in kills (226), third in aces (32), and sixth in digs (137). The two-time first team All-SWBL selection is closing in on 1,000 career kills with 953. She also has 554 career digs.
Sprada’s big games against league opponents include 24 kills against Waynesville, 23 against Eaton and 22 over Oakwood.
The SWBL Athlete of the Week is sponsored by Gameday Grille & Patio. Winners will receive an award path for their varsity jacket, a $25 gift card to Gameday, and a SWBL Athlete of the Week T-shirt.
