9-11 fundraiser held in Eaton

The third annual Boots & Brews 9-11 Fundraiser, hosted in downtown Eaton and organized by Bushrod Brew Works, was a chance to remember and honor those lost because of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, and raise money for area first responders. The afternoon of concerts included live music, food trucks, K-9 demonstrations, a silent auction and touch-a-truck activity on Sunday, Sept. 8. First responders from across the state were in attendance, including local law enforcement, fire and EMS personnel, the Dayton Bomb Squad and more. Bands included The Flannels, Full Strut, The Caitlin Davis Band, and Parrots of the Caribbean. Wednesday, Sept. 11, marks the 23rd anniversary of the September 11, 2001, terror attacks. Boots & Brews served as a time of remembrance for the nearly 3,000 lives lost in the tragic attacks on the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and Flight 93, while also raising funds to support local first responders who protect and serve.
