The following information has been provided by area police departments. The information listed in this column is considered public record and is available to anyone seeking information concerning what is provided below.

For purposes of this column, the term “arrested” or “charged” does not necessarily mean the person was taken into physical custody. It could also indicate that a summons was issued to the subject in lieu of physical custody.

All the people listed as “arrested” or “charged” are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Saturday, June 1, Englewood 240000899: A 14-year-old male, a 13-year-old male, and a 10-year-old male, all from Englewood, were charged with theft at Walmart. Two of the juveniles were released to their mother who was advised she would receive a notice in the mail to appear in court. The third juvenile was transported to the juvenile detention center.

Englewood 240000903: During a traffic stop Ray C. Gowdy, 67, of Dayton 45410, was arrested on a Dayton warrant and taken to the county jail. Drugs found in his jacket were sent to the crime lab for analysis. More charges might be pending.

Englewood 240000911: Austin W. Schwartz, 28, of Sidney, was charged with theft at Meijer and taken to the county jail.

Englewood 240000917: October M. Dorsten, 18, of Centerville, was arrested by Miamisburg Police on an Englewood warrant. Dorsten was turned over to an Englewood officer and taken to jail.

Sunday, June 2, Englewood 240000918: During a traffic stop Jeremy C. Ramey, 42, of Fairborn, was arrested on a warrant out of Dayton and a warrant out of Oakwood and was charged with no operator’s license. He was taken to the county jail.

Englewood 240000919: Marilyn J. Gadd, 46, of Trotwood, was charged with operating a vehicle intoxicated. She registered at 0.105 percent on a breath intoxilyzer test. She was issued a court summons and released to a friend.

Monday, June 3, Englewood 240000927: William C. McConnehea, 42, of Monroe, was arrested on a Miami County warrant. He was transported to the county line and turned over to a Miami County deputy.

Tuesday, June 4, Englewood 240000932: Carl K. Hayes, 42, of Tipp City, was charged with control of dogs, issued a court summons and released.

Englewood 240000937: A 17-year-old male of Dayton 45402, was charged with aggravated menacing and obstructing official business after threatening to shoot a store security guard at Walmart and failing to provide his personal information to police. He was transported to the juvenile detention center.

Englewood 240000939: During a traffic top Gregory W. Adkinson, 63, of Trotwood, was arrested on a warrant out of Mercer County and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

Sunday, July 21, Brookville 2400247: Shawn M. Jordan, 39, of Brookville, cited for expired license plate and issued a court summons.

Monday, July 22, Brookville 2400248: A male subject from Eaton was criminally trespassed from Waffle House.

Brookville 2400249: James E.E. Lavender, 31, of Springfield, was arrested on a pair of warrants out of Montgomery County Western Division Court and transported to the county jail.

Tuesday, July 23, Brookville 2400251: Logan L. Bray, 28, of Brookville, was charged with speeding and open container. She was issued a court summons and released to her aunt.

Brookville 2400252: Stephanie M. Luckie, 29, of Trotwood, was arrested on a warrant out of Montgomery County Municipal Court for failure to appear on charges of speeding and driving under suspension. She was also charged with speeding and driving under license forfeiture suspension and taken to the county jail.

Wednesday, July 31, Clayton 240000808: An officer on patrol located a wallet under a vehicle in the 6800 block of Stillmore Dr. The ID belonged to a resident of Clermont County. A vehicle parked in a driveway displayed a Clermont County sticker. After knocking on the door, the registered owner of the vehicle said all of his credit cards, driver’s license and cash had been stolen as well as a pair of prescription sunglasses. One of the cards had been used to make purchase totaling $105 at a Speedway in Miamisburg.

Sunday, Aug. 4, Clayton 240000834: An unknown subject punctured three tires on a vehicle parked in the 600 block of Barrington Dr.

Wednesday, Aug. 7, Clayton 240000844: A male subject was issued a written trespass warning at Goodwill on Hoke Road.

Friday, Aug. 9, Clayton 240000851: Police responded to the 200 block of Hilltop Dr. for a disorderly subject. The victim’s ex-girlfriend shattered a bedroom window and then caused extensive damage to his vehicle. He refused to press charges. The female was transported to the hospital due a possible life-threatening laceration on her right arm.
