City of Eaton announces 3rd Annual Fall Family Day

EATON — Mark your calendars now. The City of Eaton Parks and Recreation Department has announced its the 3rd Annual Fall Family Day is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 5, from 2-6 p.m. at Seven Mile Park. This year promises to be the best one yet, with an array of exciting activities and entertainment for all ages, according to organizers.

Families can look forward to live music by The Flannels, delicious food from various vendors, and a delightful selection of crafts and goods from local artisans, city officials said in a recent press release. Kids will enjoy picking out a free pumpkins from the pumpkin patch, face painting, and inflatables. Back by popular demand, children can also once again participate in Paint the Plow with Preble Arts, adding their artistic touch to the snowplow which will be on display at the Downtown Eaton White Christmas festivities, to help kick off the 2024 holiday season.

“We’re excited to host this community event that brings families together for a day of fun and festivities,” said Zac Wilson, Eaton Service & Parks Coordinator. “With the support of our generous sponsors and the enthusiastic participation of our community, this year’s Fall Family Day will be an unforgettable experience.”
