Planning commission approves application for Meadowlark Subdivision

Brookville planning commission approved the subdivision plan for the Meadowlark Phase One subdivision.

BROOKVILLE – Planning commission approved the application from Fischer Homes/Grand Communities for the final subdivision plan for Meadowlark Subdivision-Phase One, located on 21.80 l acres west of Meadow Glen Drive.

“At the July 21, 2022, meeting, planning commission approved a preliminary plan for the Meadowlark Subdivision,” law director Rod Stephan said.

Stephan noted the Meadowlark Subdivision-Phase One final subdivision plan “is consistent with the preliminary plan previously approved by planning commission.”

“The Meadowlark Subdivision-Phase One subdivision consists of 26 lots that will have 13 paired patio homes built on the 26 lots. Each side of the paired patio home will be sold separately,” Stephan said.

At the July 21, 2022 planning commission meeting, Stephan stated “the lots will be designed for zero lot line single family residences to be constructed with a common wall between the residences. The covenants and restrictions for the project will provide for maintenance of the common areas of the zero lot line residences.”
