City of Eaton hosts summer fun for families

EATON — Main Street Aquatic Center was a packed house for Eaton Parks and Recreation’s second annual Dive-In Movie Night. Families enjoyed all the aquatic center has to offer, as well as a special inflatable waterslide, and a foam cannon with it’s own pit for playing in the bubbles, prior to the special showing of the children’s film Finding Dory, which followed up on last year’s display of Finding Nemo which was cut short due to inclement weather. This year’s fun didn’t get cut short, and city officials deemed the event a huge success thanks to its sponsors, Neaton Auto and Preble County Development Partnership. EPAR’s next family event will be its 3rd annual Fall Family Day, scheduled this year for Saturday, Oct. 5, at Seven Mile Park. Watch for details when they are announced.
