CLAYTON — Tai Tran, a 2020 Northmont graduate, recently graduated from the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md.
Tai’s remarkable achievements and contributions have earned him a well-deserved place on the Northmont Military Wall of Honor. During his visit to Northmont on Sunday, June 23, before heading to San Diego for further training, he was warmly welcomed by Northmont administrators and NJROTC supervisors and his picture on the Military Wall of Honor was unveiled.
Throughout his time at Northmont, Tai was actively involved in various activities, including NJROTC, Marching Band, Drama Club, Student Government, and Link Crew. His dedication and hard work led to his appointment to the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis in 2020.
Tai is the son of Loc and Thanh Tran, who reside in Englewood. His journey and accomplishments serve as an inspiration to all Northmont students.
“We are incredibly proud of Tai and wish him continued success in his future endeavors,” said Northmont Superintendent Tony Thomas.
