PC Board of Elections sets meetings

EATON — The Preble County Board of Elections will begin a special meeting on Saturday, April 29, at 8 a.m. for the purpose of swearing-in the May 2, 2023 Special Election voting location managers at 9 a.m., and any business brought before the board. The board will continue this meeting on:

• Tuesday, May 2, at 6:30 p.m. preceding the 2023 Special Election Unofficial Canvass, and

• Saturday, May 6, 10 a.m. to approve late arriving and cured absentee ballots and any business brought before the board, and

• Wednesday, May 10, at 9 a.m. to approve cured provisional ballots and any business brought before the board, and

• Tuesday, May 16, at 9 a.m to begin and complete the May 2, Special Election Official Canvass and any business brought before the board. This meeting will replace the regular meeting scheduled for May 18.

The board’s June regular meeting will be held Thursday, June 15, at 9 a.m.

The 2023 Special Election Public Test will be conducted on Monday, May 15, at 10 a.m. in the board’s office at 101 E. Main St., Eaton.
