Ladies Line Dancing

Ladies Line Dancing takes place every Monday night at 6:30 p.m. in the Town Hall Basement, at 16 N. Main St., with parking available across the street. There is something for everyone at no charge. Dress comfortably and bring a water. It’s a great opportunity to have fun, learn something new and make some new friends. Turkey Shoot

Twin Valley Rod and Gun Club Spring Turkey Shoot takes place at 1 p.m. each Sunday starting March 5, through April 2, at Preble Co. Line Rd. and 9631 Germantown Rd. The public is welcome. West Alexandria Fire Dept. BINGO takes place every Thursday. Doors open at 5 p.m. with open seating; first come, first served. Early bird games start at 6 p.m. to help those coming after work. Coffeehouse Conversations

Kierston’s Coffeestop, located at 12 S. Main Street, is hosting Coffeehouse Conversations every Monday evening from 7-8 p.m. Everyone is invited to stop in for complimentary coffee, a cookie, or baked-good. Bring a friend and pull up a chair for an open, honest, and friendly conversation about faith, life, and today’s social issues and how they relate to the Bible, with a local pastor.

Foodbank

The Foodbank continues to be open regular hours from 10 a.m. to noon, on Mondays and Wednesdays at St. John Church, 20 E. South Street. Urgent needs are: Urgent needs are: macaroni and cheese boxed dinners, spaghetti sauce and spaghetti noodles. Other needed items include chicken noodle soup, vegetable soup, pork and beans, egg noodles, tuna, canned vegetables, corn, peas, green beans, shampoo and conditioner, toilet paper, and toothpaste. World Day of Prayer

Salem Lutheran Church

The women provide a meal to the homeless shelter in Eaton on the fourth Monday of every month.

Salem Kids, for children ages 3 through the sixth grade, meets each Wednesday, with a meal at 6 p.m. and lessons from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Salem Kids will not meet during the Lenten season, so families are able to attend Lenten dinners and services together.

Lenten meals continue every Wednesday through March 29 from 5:30 p.m. until 6:45 p.m.

Lenten worship services will take place at 7 p.m. every Wednesday evening through March 29.

The Men’s Breakfast and Bible Study group meets at 7:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall every third Saturday, next on March 18. For more information, contact Jack Walker at 937-733-3438.

There will be a spaghetti lunch and dessert auction to help raise funds for the youth after worship on Sunday, March 29. Funds will help pay for the youth summer mission trip to Ft. Myers, Florida to support hurricane relief efforts.

NALC Disaster Response is requesting health care kits, kitchen kits and school kits, as well as monetary donations and gift cards for Lowes, Home Depot and Walmart, to help those in areas affected by natural disaster. The Women of Salem will be collecting donations up until Easter Sunday, April 9. We are so grateful for the generosity and support we receive. The Women of Salem will be collecting crew and no-show socks and underwear for school-age children and adults for our annual April Showers event. Monetary donations are also accepted. Donations will be taken to Bethany Graceworks, who gives it back to the Common Good Shop in Eaton. Money sent will be doubled by the Graceworks treasury.
