Monday, Oct. 28

Kinderbridge Storytime, 10 a.m.-11 a.m.

Get ready for Kindergarten with stories, songs, and hands-on activity stations! Enjoy a new theme each week. Recommended for ages 3-6, and their caregiver(s). Registration is not required.

Balloon Powered Cars, 6-7 p.m.

Kids ages 6-12 can build and decorate a balloon-powered car from recyclable materials and race it against their friends!

Tuesday, Oct. 29

Movers and Shakers Storytime, 10-10:30 a.m.

It’s never too early to grow a child’s love of learning. This early literacy-based program features music, dancing, rhymes, stories, and more. Kids and their adults will shake it together! Sing, dance and enjoy music, movement and fun! This program is recommended for children ages 1-4 years and all abilities are welcome. Registration is not required.

Tween Tuesday, 3 p.m.-4 p.m.

Kids ages 9-12 can bring their friends and hang out, play video games, watch anime, make crafts and more. Each week is something different! Registration is not required.

Intro to Photography, 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Adults who are ready to take better photos or start a new hobby have the opportunity to join world-renowned photographer Flavio Valle to learn the basics of photography, from composition to accessories and more!

Wednesday, Oct. 30

Preschool Storytime, 10-11 a.m.

Children ages 3-5 years can enjoy stories, songs (Miss Teresa plays her guitar), and other fun learning activities designed to develop the language, literacy, and social skills a preschooler needs for school success. Registration is not required.

Thursday, Oct. 31

Mother Goose on the Loose: Baby and Toddler Storytime, 10 a.m. – 10:45 a.m.

Bring babies and toddlers for games, songs and stories that have an early literacy base and are designed to aid in stimulating the learning process for babies and toddlers. Caregivers are encouraged to bring children from ages birth to 36 months old to join in this fun program. Registration is not required.

Teen Scary Movie, 3-5 p.m.

Teens in grades 7 through 12 are invited to bring their friends to the library on the spookiest day of the year to watch a spine-chilling movie! Registration is not required.

Family Story Time, 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Families with children of all ages will enjoy stories, rhymes, songs and activities for everyone to participate in! Registration is not required.

Friday, Nov. 1

After School Art Club, 3:30.-4:30 p.m.

Kids in Pre-K through 4th grade can go to the library after school on the first Friday of the month to learn a bit about artists throughout history while exploring their own imagination through their preferred medium. This free program is limited to 15 participants so registration is required.

Saturday, Nov. 2

Magazine Swap, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

All ages may visit the library’s magazine and puzzle swap. Drop in anytime during the day to see what’s up for grabs!

Magazines and puzzles will be available for those who want to swap previously read or new mags for others they’d like to have or trade puzzles for different ones. Anyone can participate, whether they’d like to swap, pick up or donate.

Donations of recent or specialty magazines and puzzles in good condition are welcomed prior to the swap at the library during regular library hours or during the event. Registration is not required.
