BROOKVILLE — The Blue Devils opened the Southwest 2, Division IV boys soccer sectional tournament Tuesday with a 4-1 victory over Graham.
Aden Metcalf led Brookville with three goals and one assist while Dominic King had one goal and two assists. Goalkeeper Ayden Cowens allowed one goal with three saves.
Josiah Tidwell scored Graham’s lone goal off an assist by Owen Powell. Goalkeeper Nehemiah Griffin surrendered four goals and made six saves. With the loss the Falcons conclude their 2024 season at 6-11-1 overall.
Brookville improved to 14-3-0. The Blue Devils, the No. 3 seed, advances to face No. 17 seed Urbana (3-12-2) on Saturday at 7 p.m. at a site to be determined.
