BOYS SOCCER

Brookville

The Blue Devils extended their win streak to six games with a 1-0 win over Wayne on Thursday and a 3-1 victory Saturday at Xenia. Aden Metcalf scored off an assist by Branson King in the victory over Wayne and Ayden Cowens made eight saves in goal.

Dominic King scored two goals and Metcalf one while Roman Whorton had two assists in the 3-1 win at Xenia. Cowens made two saves in goal as Brookville improved to 13-3-0 overall.

Eaton

The Eagles battled Dixie to a 1-1 tie Thursday to move to 8-7-2 overall while the Greyhounds moved to 13-2-2. Jordan Downs scored off an assist by Tanner Dugan and Connor Fitch scrambled to make 20 saves. Evan Marker scored an unassisted goal for Dixie and goalkeeper Aiden Hammond made eight saves.

Northmont

With a 7-0 non-conference victory Thursday against Sidney the Thunderbolts improved to 7-7-2 overall. Nevin Smith scored five goals while Chris Powell had one goal and two assists and Ethan Graham one goal. Braedon Dresnek had two assists while Pedro Acuna, Kamryn Kleber, Moses Nizeyiman each had an assist. Ethan Crist and Jaden Green each made a save in goal.

Preble Shawnee

The Arrows fought to a 1-1 tie Saturday against Carlisle to move to 6-8-1 overall. Colton Schroeder scored an unassisted goal for Shawnee while Andrew Unger made 11 saves in goal.

Tri-County North

The Panthers tied Newton 1-1 on Thursday to move to 6-9-1 overall and 3-4-1 in conference play. Chase Henry scored for TCN and Travis Williamson made 18 saves. Carson Resides scored for Newton and Sawyer Renner made 12 saves. Newton’s record moved to 6-8-2 overall and 6-1-2 in WOAC play.

GIRLS SOCCER

Brookville

The Lady Devils scored a 2-1 non-league victory Thursday against Springfield to improved to 8-7-2 while the Lady Wildcats fell to 3-11-2. Kinsey Kummer and Grace Taylor scored off assists by Maura Cunningham and Maddie Tarkany. Kylie Baker scored for Springfield off an assist by Kennedi Jones.

Eaton

With a 3-0 victory Saturday over Talawanda the Lady Eagles concluded regular season play at 9-5-3 overall. Adie Heggs had two goals and Jaelinn Miller one. Brooklyn Hora and Myla Roberts both had an assist and Hannah Reddick made three saves in goal.

National Trail

The Lady Blazers concluded regular season play with a 4-0 victory over Dixie to improved to 3-7-0 in conference play and 7-8-1 overall. Dixie fell to 0-10-0 and 3-14-0 overall. Josie Stiner scored twice while Megan Irvin and Breanna Leal each added one goal. Belle Anderson and Lillian Cordle each had an assist. Taylor Reynolds made eight saves in goal.

Preble Shawnee

The Lady Arrows closed regular season play with a 4-2 victory over Carlilse to improved to 10-3-3 overall. Lyla Ford netted three goals and Aubrey Under tallied one. Josie Mondello-Gerrett had an assist. Jillian Murphy made three saves in goal. Carlisle’s goals were scored by Jessa Blair and Sophie Jones as the Lady Indians finished regular season play at 3-12-2.
