The following information has been provided by area police departments. The information listed in this column is considered public record and is available to anyone seeking information concerning what is provided below.

For purposes of this column, the term “arrested” or “charged” does not necessarily mean the person was taken into physical custody. It could also indicate that a summons was issued to the subject in lieu of physical custody.

All the people listed as “arrested” or “charged” are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Friday, Sept. 13, Brookville 2400344: Christin N. Welch, 43, of Brookville, was cited with failure to yield to pedestrian after her vehicle struck a male riding a scooter within the marked crosswalk in the 200 block of S. Wolf Creek St. The male was evaluated by medics and released to his father with minor injuries.

Clayton 240001027: Robert J. Brooks, 48, of Dayton 45417, was charged with operating a vehicle intoxicated, stop sign violation, and open container. Taken to jail.

Saturday, Sept. 14, Brookville 2400345: Steven L. Carrier, 33, of Fairfield, cited with failure to signal, no operator’s license, and driving under non-compliance suspension. Released with court summons. Vehicle impounded.

Clayton 240001029: Taku O.V. Putten, 36, of Clayton 45415, and Alonzo J. Koen, 25, of Clayton 45415, were each charged with disorderly conduct for engaging in fighting. They were both issued a court summons and released.

Sunday, Sept. 15, Brookville 2400347: A pair of male juveniles were removed by police from a home under construction on Quail Hollow Drive. A representative of Fischer Homes signed a refusal to prosecute form.

Monday, Sept. 16, Clayton 240001033: Dion L. Ross, 46, of Clayton 45415, was cited for loud music at Muse Lounge and issued a court summons.

Clayton 240001037: A female subject was issued a written trespass warning at Boston Stoker and released.

Tuesday, Sept. 17, Brookville 2400349: Dominique M. Seacatt, 25, of Springfield, was arrested on a Clark County warrant for criminal trespassing. He was transported to Huber Heights and turned over to a Clark County deputy.

Thursday, Sept. 19, Brookville 2400356: Police responded to a threats complaint at Brookville High School that was discovered to be actually directed towards Wayne High School.

Brookville 2400357: An officer responded to the intersection of Ostend and Croswell on the report of a possible purse on the side of the road related to thefts in the area. A black Carhartt lunch cooler was found in the grass next to the street containing three unopened bottles of water and an ice pack. The cooler was placed in evidence until it can be determined if it is related to thefts from motor vehicles that took place in the city on Sept. 19.

Brookville 2400358: An unknown subject entered and rummaged through a vehicle on Coronado Drive. Nothing was missing from the vehicle.

Brookville 2400359: A social worker discovered a firearm in the backpack of a disabled person she works with. Police confiscated the weapon.

Brookville 2400362: Alexandria M. Schreiber, 26, of Brookville, cited with driving under suspension. Her vehicle was impounded. She was released with a court summons.

Clayton 240001045: Amanda M. Bryant, 41, of Clayton 454315, was arrested on a warrant out of Butler County and taken to jail.
