BROOKVILLE — The Brookville Police Department will hold its 2024 “Ghostly Night Out” event Saturday, Oct. 19, from 6-9:30 p.m. at Golden Gate Park located at 545 Upper Lewisburg-Salem Road.

The annual event will feature hayrides, bounce houses, face painting and pumpkin decorating.

The police department will hold its “Trunk or Treat” event where plenty of candy will be available.

There also will be special appearances by the 501st Star War Legion and the United Chaos (Marvels).

A haunted forest will appear that night for those brave enough to venture through it.

There will be a disc jockey who will play music during the event.

Visitors are encouraged to wear a costume where they will have the chance to win a prize.

According to Brookville Police Chief Doug Jerome, the annual event continues to provide a free and safe Halloween experience for the community thanks to the department’s “generous sponsors and volunteers.”
