EATON — The City of Eaton’s Fall Family Day, which this year included a “Jeepers Creepers” Halloween-themed Jeep show, was met with sunny weather on Saturday, Oct. 5. Families and Jeep owners alike attended the event at Seven Mile Park last weekend. According to city officials, 350 pumpkins were “picked” from the pumpkin patch, and hundreds of children of all ages enjoyed the wide assortment of inflatable rides and games. The local band, The Flannels, provided the live entertainment for the afternoon, and a special K-9 demonstration featured the Eaton Police Division, Camden Police Department and Preble County Sheriff’s Office. Preble Arts helped children not only paint their pumpkins but also complete this year’s Paint the Plow mural on the snow plow for the upcoming holiday season.
