Blood drives slated in Brookville & Clayton

DAYTON — Don’t let cancer patients fight alone. Honor October Breast Cancer Awareness Month by donating at two area blood drives on Wednesday, Oct. 9.

The monthly Brookville community blood drive sponsored by Community United Methodist Church will take place from 12:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Golden Gate Park Leiber Center, 545 Upper Lewisburg Salem Road.

Salem Church of God community blood drive will be from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. at 6500 Southway Road, Clayton.

Everyone who registers to donate with Solvita Oct. 1 through Nov. 2 receives the “Fight Cancer” October Breast Cancer Awareness Month T-shirt.

Register to donate at any Solvita blood drive Sept. 30 through Oct. 26 to be automatically entered in the drawing to win two tickets to the Ohio State vs. Michigan game Nov. 30 in Columbus.
