The following information has been provided by area police departments. The information listed in this column is considered public record and is available to anyone seeking information concerning what is provided below.

For purposes of this column, the term “arrested” or “charged” does not necessarily mean the person was taken into physical custody. It could also indicate that a summons was issued to the subject in lieu of physical custody.

All the people listed as “arrested” or “charged” are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Saturday, Aug. 10, Brookville 2400286: Police responded to the 200 block of Timberwolf Dr. where a home had been struck by a bullet, which appeared to be a 9 millimeter hollow point.

Tuesday, Aug. 13, Brookville 2400291: A disorderly subject was reported in the 200 block pf Joanna St. where a resident’s boyfriend was allegedly high and drunk and breaking items inside the home. He was taken to the Brookville Inn to sober up.

Wednesday, Aug. 14, Brookville 2400292: Police responded to Brookhaven on a fraud complaint. A resident hired someone to sell a car for him but had not received any money and the person selling the car blocked the owner’s phone number. The owner and seller had signed an agreement regarding the transaction. The victim was advised to speak with a lawyer.

Brookville 2400293: Shoplifting was reported at Dollar General. Two male subjects from Lewisburg were issued trespass warning and told not to return to the store or they could be arrested.

Thursday, Aug. 15, Brookville 2400294: Police responded to the 400 block of Western Ave. on a disorderly subject. No charges were filed.

Friday, Aug. 16, Brookville 2400295: Atwil G. Milsun, 36, of Greensboro, N.C., was charged with obeying traffic control devices and driving under suspension and issued a court summons. His vehicle was impounded.

Brookville 2400296: Police responded to a crash at S. Wolf Creek Street and Western Avenue. Alex R. Boyd, 32, of Brookville, was charged with assured clear distance ahead. The driver of the other vehicle was taken to the hospital for evaluation.

Brookville 2400298: Jarrod C. Doss, 44, of Brookville, was arrested on a warrant out of Vandalia Municipal Court for a probation violation. He was taken to the county jail.

Saturday, Aug. 17, Brookville 2400299: The theft of a padlock and keys was reported in the 400 block of Market St.

Sunday, Aug. 18, Brookville 2400302: Kailee A. Hoskins, 20, of Brookville, was charged with driving without a license, driving under suspension, and was arrested on a Brookville warrant. She was taken to the count jail.

Monday, Aug. 19, Brookville 2400303: A 17-year-old male at Brookville High School was charged with possession of drugs for having a vape pen containing THC oil. Charges were forwarded to juvenile court.

Tuesday, Aug. 20, Brookville 2400305: A 15-year-old male riding an electric bike reported having his rear tire bumped by a vehicle at the intersection of Western Avenue and Wolf Creek Street. Police found no evidence of the vehicle striking the bike.

Wednesday, Aug. 21, Brookville 2400308: Leslie A. Corder, 48, of Columbia City, Ind., was arrested on a warrant out of Preble County. She was turned over to a Preble County deputy.

Friday, Aug. 23, Union 24000000306: Police responded to the 100 block of Heckman Dr. on the report of a naked female banging on doors. After an investigation John P. Phillips, 43, of Union, was charged with engaging in prostitution and transported to the county jail. Brooke R. Begley, 28, of West Carrollton, was charged with engaging in prostitution, public indecency, and obstructing official business. She complained of having trouble breathing and was taken to the hospital. She was later arrested by Kettering Police on a warrant out of Fairborn and taken to the Greene County Jail.
