GREENVILLE — Saturday several area schools competed in the annual Treaty City Invitational hosted by Greenville High School.
A total of 28 boys teams entered the race with 24 scoring. Versailles took 1st place with Greenville 2nd. Northmont placed 5th with Brookville 9th, Eaton 12th, Twin Valley South 16th, and National Trail 19th.
Northmont sophomore Dominic Lopez finished 4th at 16:29.0. Bennett Lehman of Ansonia took 1st in 15:53.7. Northmont sophomore Owen Bush was 10th in 17:14.1. Brookville senior Lucas Tipton finished 19th in 17:36.2.
National Trail sophomore Tucker Denlinger was 22nd (17:54.2). Twin Valley South senior Hibiki Matsumoto was 29th (18:11.0) while TVS sophomore Samuel DeHart was 32nd (18:17.8).
Northmont sophomore Grant Mergler was 36th (18:24.9). Eaton junior Jack Richardson was 38th (18:28.0). Brookville junior Evan Pentecost finished 50th (18:40.2). Eaton senior Tanner Davis came in 58th (18:47.1).
Brookville senior Logan Wright was 62nd (18:49.3). Eaton freshman Skyler Derksen was 63rd (18:50.2) followed by Brookville senior Chase Puskas 64th (18:52.6).
Eaton junior Wes Kitchin finished 71st (19:07.6) with sophomore Michael Fomin 75th in 19:12.5. Brookville sophomore Drew Stammen was 81st (19:17.6) with teammate junior Greyson Florkey 82nd (19:18.1).
Northmont runners sophomore Adam Wallace was 83rd (19:20.4) and freshman Nick Diller 87th (19:27.6).
Eaton freshman Reed Daniels was 89th (19:30.5). Brookville sophomore Luuk Fokkink was 93rd (19:36.9). National Trail junior Brayden Lee was 94th (19:37.0).
Preble Shawnee runners sophomore Dennis Hall was 96th (19:44.1), freshman Kyle Bruno 103rd (19:58.7), and sophomore Alex Myers 104th (20:00.9).
Northmont senior Matthew Helmick was 105th (20:03.5). Preble Shawnee sophomore Evan Shields was 108th (20:10.4).
Twin Valley South runners sophomore Hunter Todd was 111th (20:13.6) and junior Logan Mershon was 114th (20:17.4). National Trail senior Jackson Johnson was 118th (20:26.9).
Northmont sophomore Alex Moore was 127th (20:58.4). Eaton sophomore Zachary Laycox was 128th (21:00.5). Twin Valley South junior Eshton Justice was 129th (21:04.3).
National Trail runners freshman Bryce Couvutsakis was 130th (21:06.3) and sophomore Merek Mumm was 165th (27:11.7).
