Lady Bolts volleyball falls to Beavercreek

CLAYTON — Northmont’s girls volleyball lost a five set conference match Thursday to Beavercreek.

The Lady Beavers took the first set 25-20. Northmont came back strong to win the second set 25-9 and the third set 25-20. Beavercreek won the fourth set 25-15 and the fifth set 15-13.

With the victory Beavercreek improved to 3-0 in conference play and 5-1 overall. Northmont fell to 1-2 in conference play and 5-2 overall.

Jadyn Johnson, a junior, had 11 kills, 15 total service points and five digs. Lydia Bridenbaugh had four kills, 25 total service points, seven service aces and six digs. Elle Gilmore had five kills, three digs and two blocks.

Brianna Abels seven digs, 12 total service points and two kills. Halie Hill had 19 digs, nine total service points and one kill. Maddie Hager and Jenna Hall each had seven digs and 15 total service points. Madelyn Hoff had seven digs, Madison Wadle had five digs and Faye Osborne had one block, one kill and one dig.

Ryleigh Hardwick had five kills, 19 set attempts, and two digs. Emma Lunsford had one kill.

Northmont plays at Springfield, hosts Springboro on Thursday and plays at Troy on Saturday at 12:30 p.m.
