For purposes of this column, the term “arrested” or “charged” does not necessarily mean the person was taken into physical custody. It could also indicate that a summons was issued to the subject in lieu of physical custody.

All the people listed as “arrested” or “charged” are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Saturday, June 8, Englewood 240000965: Austin E. Arnett, 33, of Clayton 45415, was arrested on warrants out of Beavercreek and Englewood and taken to the county jail.

Englewood 24000966: Tawana R. Howard, 45, of Dayton 45417, was arrested on a felony probation warrant out of Montgomery County and taken to the county jail.

Englewood 240000967: Kino Armstrong, 30, of Dayton 45405, arrested on warrant out of Dayton and taken to the county jail.

Englewood 240000968: Michael A. Metcalf, 58, of Dayton, charged with theft at Kroger and possession of drug paraphernalia. Taken to county jail.

Englewood 240000969: Leon D. Clements, 55, at large, was arrested on a warrant out of Montgomery County for violating a protection order and was also charged with obstructing official business. He was taken to the county jail.

Englewood 240000970: Joshua A. Longstreth, 42, of Englewood, was charged with operating a vehicle intoxicated, driving without a valid license, and failure to maintain reasonable control after striking a mailbox on Union Road. He has one previous conviction for OVI from 2018. He was issued a court summons and released to a sober driver.

Sunday, June 9, Englewood 240000984: Diamitrees Z. Heilman, 23, of Dayton 45406, was charged with assault at Taco Bell. He fled before police arrived. Vandalia Municipal Court will issue Heilman a summons to appear.

Monday, June 10, Englewood 240000988: William J. Abrams, 46, of West Manchester, was charged with driving under suspension and arrested on a warrant out of Miami County and a warrant out of Randolph County, Ind. Abrams was turned over to a Miami County deputy.

Englewood 240000989: David E. Banks, 61, of Dayton 45406, was charged with theft at Tractor Supply and failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officers. A passenger in his vehicle, Felicia R. Mclemore, 47, of Dayton 45417, was arrested on a felony warrant out of Montgomery County. Banks and Mclemore were taken to the county jail.

Englewood 240000990: Matthew R. Waddell, 29, of Dayton 45410, was charged with theft at Meijer and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was issued a court summons and released to staff at Miami Valley Hospital North for evaluation.

Tuesday, June 11, Englewood 240000992: Chad J. Robbins, 40, at large, was arrested on a warrant out of Kettering and taken to the county jail.

Saturday, July 27, Union 24000000279: Police responded to a crash involving two vehicles at Phillipsburg-Union and Marrett Farm roads. An odor of alcohol and burnt marijuana was detected coming from one of the drivers. Trey P. Kuntz, 24, of Union, was charged with operating a vehicle intoxicated, issued a court summons and released to his mother.

Sunday, Aug. 11, Union 24000000295: Daniel K. Schreiber, 37, of Clayton, was charged with operating a vehicle intoxicated, failure to wear seatbelt and turn signal violation. He was issued a court summons and released to his wife.

Saturday, Aug. 24, Union 24000000308: Jennifer L. McDaniel, 48. of Englewood, was charged with operating a vehicle intoxicated, OVI over the legal limit, and failure to obey a traffic control device (red light). She registered a 0.94 percent on a breath intoxilyzer test. McDaniel was issued a court summons and released to a sober driver.

Monday, Aug. 26, Union 24000000310: Hope A. Williams, 48, of Covington, was charged with having a loud exhaust, driving under suspension, , failure to wear seatbelt and was arrested on two active warrants. She was transported to the county jail.
