Eby celebrating a century

EATON — Dareld Eby of Eaton is turning 100 on Monday, Sept. 9.

Having been born in 1924, as one can imagine, he has seen many changes throughout his lifetime and worn many hats. In addition to being a full time farmer, he worked at Dayton Chemical, where he eventually retired.

He also wore the hat of the Blue Ribbon 4-H club, which he co-founded with his brother, Emerson, as well as the hats of a beloved husband, father, step-father, and all around great guy, according to his family, who wish him a very happy birthday and best wishes for more to come.
