PCMHRB planning Walk to Remember, Walk for Hope

EATON — The Preble County Mental Health & Recovery Board and Suicide Prevention Coalition is hosting the 13th Annual Walk to Remember, Walk for Hope on Saturday, Sept. 28.

This event is dedicated to those lost by suicide and to bring awareness to the importance of mental health care. All proceeds benefit local suicide prevention programming. Pre-registration is $20 (includes t-shirt) and will end on Friday Sept. 6.

Day-of registration will begin at 9:30 a.m., with t-shirts available while supplies last.

This year’s Walk/5K will kick off at 10 a.m., starting and finishing at the Eaton High School Wellness Center and taking participants through Fort St. Clair Park.

To further remember those who have died by suicide in the community PCMHRB will be placing pictures of loved ones submitted to them by family members along the walkway.

Yard signs can be submitted by visiting the website www.pcmhrb.org and the deadline for submissions is Sept. 6.

PCMHRB and the Suicide Prevention Coalition invites everyone to join in on Saturday, Sept. 28, in the fight to end suicide.
