CLAYTON — The Northmont girls varsity golf team defeated a very new Wayne team Thursday 169 – 180 at the Lady Bolts home course, Meadowbrook at Clayton.
The Lady Warriors have a girls golf team for the first time in years. Starting with just three freshmen on their roster they are building for the future.
The Lady Bolts took the win in what was mostly an exhibition match since Wayne had only three players total.
Senior Addyson Wissing had a solid night on the greens and scored second place for the team. This was impressive for her first year on the team.
