A fully-involved fire in an attached garage was the scene of an early morning call for Gasper Township Fire & EMS at a home in the 2000 block of Halderman Road on Saturday, July 27. Gasper Township Fire reported mutual aid from the City of Eaton Fire & EMS-Ohio, Camden Somers-Township Fire & EMS and West Alexandria Fire & EMS were dispatched to assist. No one was injured and the residents exited the home safely. According to fire officials, crews “went to work in under a minute of being on scene to full extinguishment, saving the main living quarters of the home.”
