U.S. Route 40 (National Road) across the Englewood Dam was closed July 22 for approximately 30 days for repairs to the concrete pavement being conducted by the Ohio Department of Transportation. U.S. 40 is closed between State Route 48 (Main Street) and Aullwood Road. A detour, using the Airport Access Road and I-70 is posted. The entrances to Englewood MetroPark will remain open throughout construction. This work is weather dependent. The City of Englewood has no involvement in this project.
