PREBLE COUNTY — The Preble County Chamber of Commerce last week announced its annual Scholarship Golf Outing is set to take place on Friday, Aug. 16, starting at 8 a.m.

This year’s event will be held at the Beechwood Golf Course in Arcanum.

“This highly anticipated event offers a fantastic opportunity for participants to enjoy a day on the green while supporting a great cause. Proceeds from the outing will benefit scholarships for local high school students and support other chamber initiatives aimed at fostering business vitality and professional engagement in Preble County,” Executive Director Karen Moss said in the announcement.

“We are thrilled to introduce new contests and opportunities this year, making the outing more engaging and rewarding for our participants,” said Craig Towns, Chamber Board member and co-chair of the event. “This is not just a golf outing; it’s an investment in the future of our community.”

Jason Moles, co-chair of the event and a representative of Henny Penny, added, “The annual Scholarship Golf Outing is a perfect blend of fun, networking, and philanthropy. We encourage businesses to take advantage of our sponsorship opportunities to enhance their brand visibility while supporting a meaningful cause.”

In addition to the excitement on the course, participants will have the chance to network with fellow business professionals and enjoy a day out with colleagues. The event also features various contests and special activities that promise to add an extra layer of fun and competition.

The Preble County Chamber of Commerce proudly acknowledges its presenting sponsors, Reid Health and Kettering Health, whose generous support makes the event possible, according to MOss.

To register for the event or get more information on sponsorship opportunities, visit www.preblecountyohio.com or contact the Chamber office at 937-456-4949 or [email protected].

“Join us for a day of golf, networking, and community support at the Preble County Chamber of Commerce Annual Scholarship Golf Outing,” Moss noted in the release. “Your participation and sponsorship will make a significant impact on the lives of local students and the growth of our community.”
