MU Dean’s, President’s Lists

OXFORD — Miami University students who are ranked in the top 20 percent of undergraduate students within each division for the spring semester 2024 have been named to the Dean’s List recognizing academic excellence.

NTHS honor rolls

NEW PARIS — National Trail High School’s 4th Quarter Superintendent’s Honor Roll for the 2023-24 academic year recognizes outstanding students from each grade. In the 9th grade, the honored students were: Mollie Deaton, Claire Osswald, Kyle Laird, Maya Palmer, Jenna Deaton, Madisyn Mann, Gabriella Jordan, Scarlett Rutan, Corban Manlove, James Morgan, Chloe Graves, Aaron Nugent, Rowan McMillan, and Luke Bowers. The 10th-grade honorees included Grace Osswald, Morgan House, Tayten Reynolds, Kellen Laird, Madelyn Ditmer, Raegen Holland, Avery Lanman, Drew Rogers, Evie Hoffman, Kylie Schul, Olyviahna Mason, Liam Conway, Blakeley Quisenberry, Jaylin Hurd, Kenton Johnson, and Molly Hall. The 11th-grade students who made the honor roll were Miranda Ott, Kylee Vaughn, Ethan Osswald, Isabelle Anderson, Luke Pool, Dillon Graves, Jordyn Curtsinger, Nathaniel Tirey, Ethan Kosier, Hannah Henderson, Elizabeth Kieffer, Kaitlyn Schweizer, Grant Deaton, Trinity Rothwell, and James Armstrong. For the 12th grade, the students recognized were Madelyn Fischer, Evan Porter, Aidan Pearson, Thelma Weldy, Kynzie Everman, Alyssa Ibarra, Addison Sparks, Mariah Phillips, Ashlyn Hoover, Miya Ditmer, Blake Osswald, Gretchen Lee, Aaliyah Rehmert, Draken Utley, Eleanor Hake, Abby Anderson, Nicholas Berry, Jaleah Coffey, Clifton Doolin, Cadence Hammond, Hayden Toothman, and Chase Ruebush.

Additionally, National Trail’s 4th Quarter Principal’s Honor Roll for 2023-24 also recognizes high-achieving students. The 9th-grade students who earned this distinction were Nicholas Griffith, Daniel Osswald, Elika Miracle, Allison Snyder, Nevaeh Standifer, Izabella Downs, Ella Porter, Peyton White, Westin Marker, Lillian Cordle, Jaelynn Remaklus, and Olivia Day. In the 10th grade, the honored students were Jailynn Johnson, Chase Wills, Victoria Maglio, Kori Snyder, Hunter Ruebush, Ava Spalding, Lexi Hake, Tayden Blevins, Ethan Hardy, Braydan Lee, Jackson Skinner, Summer Stringfield, and Luke Vernon. The 11th-grade students recognized on the honor roll included Breanna Melling, Aidan Koehl, Josie Stiner, Kyleigh Ray, Ashley Green, Aubriana Wilson, Jace Hoblit, Aaron Wilson, Miles Rogers, Taryn Rucci, Logan Riesenbeck, Nicholas Brubaker, Braden Denny, Joshua Osswald, Colten Hibbard, Marjana Braden, and Taryn Rucci. Finally, the 12th-grade students on the Principal’s Honor Roll were Alaina Jones, Joseph Garden, Jamison Watts, Hannah Holsapple, Michael Wallace, Cooper Lee, Fletcher Davies, Gentry Barr, Tyler Lesh, Brandon DeCan, Dallas Pieratt, Bryce Thompson, Samantha Casteel, Joshua Welz, Lillian Allen, and Madison Palmer.

David Michael Herzog

CLEVELAND, TENNESSEE — David Michael Herzog of Eaton graduated Summa Cum Laude with the Bachelor of Science in Music Business, Voice from Lee University during the 190th commencement exercises on May 4. Herzog was among more than 400 students who received undergraduate and graduate diplomas.

Mason Esterline

ALLIANCE — The University of Mount Union has announced that Mason Esterline, of Brookville, has been named to the Dean’s List for the spring 2024 semester. Esterline was one of 691 students named to the Dean’s List. To be eligible for the Dean’s List, students must have completed at least 12 credit hours of traditionally graded coursework while achieving a grade point average of 3.550 or better with no letter grade below a B.

Jessica Brown

MARIETTA — Marietta College’s Jessica Brown of Brookville has been named to the Spring 2024 Dean’s High Honors List. Brown is majoring in Marketing and is a graduate of Brookville High School. Any full-time Marietta College student completing at least 15 credit hours with a grade point average of 3.75 or better in a given semester is recognized as a Dean’s High Honors List student. Brown also was among more than 215 students who received diplomas at Marietta College’s 187th commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 4, in the Dyson Baudo Recreation Center. Brown completed requirements for a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing.

Clara Faulkner

BOSTON, MASSACHUSSETS — Clara Faulkner of Camden earned Dean’s List list honors from Emerson College for the Spring 2024 Semester. The requirement to make Dean’s List is a grade point average of 3.7 or higher for that semester. Faulkner is majoring in Business Creative Enterprises and is a member of the Class of 2026.

Molly Curry

LEXINGTON, KENTUCKY — The University of Kentucky College of Arts and Sciences recognized more than 660 candidates during commencement ceremonies in May 2024, including Molly Curry of Eaton, who graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.

Emily Dungan

TOLEDO — Emily Dungan of Camden was among students who were awarded dean’s list honors for the Spring 2024 semester at Mercy College of Ohio. To be named on the Dean’s List, a student must achieve a grade point average of 3.3 or higher and be enrolled for 12 or more credit hours. Dungan is pursuing an associates degree in surgical technology.
