Brookville Picnic to feature talent show

BROOKVILLE — The Brookville Area Chamber of Commerce recently announced the inaugural talent show, ‘Brookville’s Got Talent,’ to be held July 26 at 4 p.m. as part of the 73rd Annual Brookville Community Picnic.

This exciting new event, organized by the Brookville Alumni Association, promises to showcase the diverse and impressive talents of our community.

Event Details:

Entry Fee: $20 per act.

Audition Submission Deadline: July 10.

Audition Options:

Submit a video audition by July 10 – videos can be emailed to [email protected] (for large files, we recommend using WeTransfer, or uploading to YouTube and emailing that link).

1. Attend in-person auditions at the Leiber Center on July 11 – must register by July 10 by emailing [email protected].

2. Performance Duration: Each act must be under 5 minutes.

T-Shirts: Each act will receive one complimentary T-shirt, with the option to purchase additional shirts

“We are excited to offer this new platform for our community members to showcase their talents,” said Angie Dull of the Brookville Area Chamber of Commerce. “From singers and dancers to magicians and comedians, we welcome all types of performances.”

The Brookville Community Picnic, an event known for its rich history and vibrant community spirit, is an annual event organized by the Brookville Area Chamber of Commerce, bringing together residents and visitors for a weekend of fun, food, and activities.

This year’s picnic will be held from July 25-27 at Golden Gate Park, featuring a variety of activities including music, rides, tractors and steam engines, vendors, food trucks, games, activities and much more.

The talent show is expected to be an entertaining addition to the picnic.

“We encourage everyone with a unique talent to audition. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure and be part of a cherished community event,” Dull said. “We can’t wait to see the incredible talent that Brookville has to offer.”
