PREBLE COUNTY — The Preble County Athletic Hall of Fame will welcome ten individuals and six teams on Sunday, May 26.
The induction ceremony will take place at the Preble County YMCA beginning with a social hour at 6 p.m. The ceremony will begin at 7 p.m.
This year’s inductee’s include Tom Pierce, Lanier Class of 1955; Maurice Dull, Gratis Class of 1963; Steve Unger, Twin Valley South Class of 1971; Terry Gallimore, Eaton Class of 1977; Rick McCollum, Eaton 1979-2014; Tina Fuchs, Preble Shawnee Class of 1999; Robbie Moyer, Eaton Class of 2001; Leslie Johnson, Eaton Class of 2002; Morgan Adsit, Eaton Class of 2002; Tony McWhinney, National Trail Class of 2004; Preble Shawnee’s 1988-89 girls basketball team; Preble Shawnee’s 1988-89 boys basketball team; Eaton’s 2001 boys cross country team; Twin Valley South’s 2002 boys track team; Tri-County North’s 1990 football team; the 1963-64 Gratis boys basketball team.
During its first 19 years the PCAHoF Committee has recognized nearly a century’s worth of accomplishments – both by males and females. With the induction of this year’s class, the hall now numbers 280 members, with 237 individuals and 43 teams.
