EATON — Reid Health is providing free admission to this year’s Preble County Chamber of Commerce, scheduled for this Friday and Saturday, April 12-13 at the Preble County Fairgrounds Expo Center and Expansion.
This is the third straight year Reid has provided free admission as part of being a presenting sponsor for the event.
The Expo will be open to the public 3-7 p.m. Friday, April 12 and 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, April 13.
“Everyone is encouraged to attend both days to meet with Reid providers, grab exclusive goodies, check out demonstrations, get free health screenings, and more,” Reid officials said in a press release. “Reid will have several providers and services represented in its own section of the Expo Center, including providers and staff from Reid Eaton Family & Specialty Care.”
The expo features more than 100 vendors in the form of nonprofits, service groups, and other local organizations as well as businesses representing a variety of industries. This year’s event will also include job fair/recruitment spaces.
Food trucks and other food vendors will be available on site along with a special area set aside for kids’ activities. Attendees can win door prizes and more. Earlier this month, Chamber officials said over 1,200 attendees are expected to attend.
One of the new features of this year’s Expo is a Job Fair, providing businesses with the opportunity to recruit talented individuals and fill job openings within their organizations. Job seekers will have the chance to explore career opportunities in various industries and connect with local employers. Another is a food truck rally, which is set to include food options of all sorts according to organizers.
