Northmont bowling team falls to Fairmont

ENGLEWOOD — In their home opener the Thunderbolts bowling team lost to Fairmont at Thunderbowl Lanes in Englewood.

The Lady Bolts fell 2096 – 1851. The team started the match with a 752 in the first game, led by junior Maddison Smith’s 171 game. In the second game, the team improved with senior Kaylee Fritz scoring a 234 contributing to a team score of 792. The Lady Bolts finished with baker games of 135 and 172.

Camryn Liming led Fairmont with 383 pins: 171 in the first game and 212 in the second. She was followed by Danica Roseberry with games of 166 and 185 and Ashley Zehring with 183 and 162.

Fairmont had baker games of 187 and 185.

The Northmont boys also lost to the Firebirds 2543 – 2251. Carson Peters led Northmont with games of 2226 and 177. Alex Harlow rolled games of 194 and 202. Wyatt Miller came in at 191 and 194. Devin Sun scored 178 and 163 while Nathan Forrest finished with 170 and 163.

In baker games Northmont scored 174 and 201.

Fairmont was led by Isaiah Shannon with 536 pins, 278 in game one and 258 in game two. Brendan Staton knocked down 432 pins, Joey Hoelscher III 395, A.J. Hall 217, Trey Spencer 212, Isaac Witz 211, and Matt Collins 202.

The Firebirds scored 169 in both baker games.
