Township BZA to hold public hearings

CLAY TOWNSHIP — The Clay Township board of zoning appeals will conduct two public hearings on Thursday, Nov. 16, at 5:30 p.m. at the township offices, located at 8207 Arlington Road.

The first public hearing is a request by Dustin Oliver for a conditional use permit allowing him to open a used car sales business at 8983 National Road.

Oliver is the owner of Premier Automotive Services, located at 501 W. Westbrook Road in Brookville.

The second public hearing is a request by James McGrath, owner of Doors Galore, for a variance enabling him to construct an additional 50-foot-by-150-foot storage building at his business, located at 7410 Pleasant Plain Road.

In other township news, the Clay Township Police has issued a notice stating the department has in its possession several found property items.

The following items are:

• .40-caliber handgun

• three Samsung cellular telephones

• Schwinn bicycle

• two Apple iPhones

• book bag with multiple electrician’s tools and pipe fitter tools

• .38-caliber special firearm
