The following information has been provided by area police departments. The information listed in this column is considered public record and is available to anyone seeking information concerning what is provided below.

For purposes of this column, the term “arrested” or “charged” does not necessarily mean the person was taken into physical custody. It could also indicate that a summons was issued to the subject in lieu of physical custody.

All the people listed as “arrested” or “charged” are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Friday, Aug. 25, Englewood 230001371: Ryan E. Moore, 32, of Middletown, and Richelle L. Shultz, 31, of Middletown, were both charged with disorderly conduct after being found passed out in a vehicle sweating profusely in the Meijer parking lot. After waking up both stated they feared overdosing in jail. They were transported to the hospital for treatment and released with a court summons.

Saturday, Aug. 26, Englewood 230001385: Ashlee A. Heckman, 41, of Englewood, was arrested at his residence on a felony warrant and transported to the county jail.

Sunday, Aug. 27, Englewood 230001387: Michael W. Hooker, 64, of Lima, was charged with disorderly conduct while voluntarily intoxicated and transported to the county jail.

Englewood 230001388: Krinceton M. Morton, 39, of Dayton 45420, was charged with theft at Walmart and possession of drug abuse instruments. He was transported to the county jail.

Monday, Aug. 28, Englewood 230001403: Jazilynn L. Cook, 35, of Dayton 45417, was arrested by Kettering Police on a warrant out of Englewood. Cook was turned over to an Englewood officer and transported to the county jail.

Tuesday, Aug. 29, Englewood 230001401: Da’sika S. Verdell, 25, of Dayton 45417, was arrested on a warrant out of Miami County and turned over to a Troy police officer.

Englewood 230001404: Carlton A. Threatts, Jr., 34, of Dayton 45405, was charged with theft at Meijer. Threatts stated he ingested a gram of fentanyl before police apprehended him. He was transported to the hospital and released with a court summons.

Englewood 230001406: Jerry W. Dowell, 52, of Richmond, Ind. 47374, was charged with theft at Walmart and transported to the county jail.

Friday, Sept. 1, Clayton 230001020: Fraud was reported at Salem Christian Academy. The school was notified by Bank of America that an unknown subject had attempted to cash a check made out to Salem Christian Academy in the amount of $35,802. The academy believes the check was stolen from its mailbox due to several past thefts of mail.

Saturday, Sept. 2, Clayton 230001025: An unknown vehicle crashed into an attached garage in the 4300 block of Skylark Dr. and fled the scene. The garage door sustained substantial damage.

Clayton 230001026: A resident of E. Salem Street reported that after a roofing company inspected his roof he was told the roof had storm damage. The homeowner’s insurance company sent an inspector out and determined the damage was not caused by a storm but was “hand manipulated.”

Monday, Sept. 4, Clayton 230001033: Brian C. Trayvick, 48, of Dayton 45405, was charged with expired license plate and was arrested on a warrant out of Montgomery County. He was transported to the county jail.

Tuesday, Sept. 5, Clayton 230001035: Da’Monica Cole, 31, of Clayton 45315, was charged with operating a vehicle intoxicated, driving without a driver’s license, failure to obey traffic control devices, and child endangering. She was transported to the county jail.

Unknown subject cut the lock off the gate at Fitzwater Tree Service and broke into two trucks and stole a utility trailer. Climbing equipment was stolen from both trucks and a trailer containing a Polaris four wheeler and other equipment was stolen.

Clayton 230001039: Whitney R. Curtis, 34, of Dayton 45406, was charged with driving under OVI suspension and transported to the county jail.

Wednesday, Sept. 6, Clayton 230001047: Rebecca G. Conley, 50, of Clayton 45322, was charged with operating a vehicle intoxicated and open container. She was transported to the county jail.

Thursday, Sept. 7, Clayton 230001051: Employee theft of $856 cash was reported at Shell True North. Camera footage recorded the theft. Shawnteria T. Hayes, 36, of Dayton 45406, was charged with theft. Charges were forwarded to Vandalia Municipal Court.

Clayton 230001052: The theft of John Deere tractor ($2,000), Craftsman push mower ($300), black floor jack ($200), Rural King trailer ($229) containing various tools ($500) were stolen from a garage in the 7800 block of N. Main St.

Clayton 230001054: De’Angelo L. Fritz, 18, of Dayton 45417, was arrested on an active warrant and transported to the county jail.
