T’bolts boys soccer

SIDNEY – The Thunderbolts scored early and often Thursday against a well-organized Sidney team. Northmont ended up posting a 9-0 victory.

Nevin Smith led the T’bolts with three goals with Nasir Eloi and Christian Moncrief scoring twice. Trevor Haire and Chris Powell each added one goal.

Smith and Eloi had two assists with Haire, Powell, Elliott Moyer, Evan Zender and Jamison Pollock adding one each.

golf defeats Piqua

PIQUA – The Thunderbolts defeated Piqua by three strokes Wednesday on the back nine at Echo Hills Golf Course.

J.J. Morgan led the T’bolts with a 39 to finish as medalist. Ben Dawson and Brady Canan finished with 40 with Jack and Eli Siehl each carding a 42.

second at Eaton quad

EATON – Northmont’s girls golf team rallied to take 2nd place last Wednesday in a quad match hosted by Eaton at Eaton Country Club.

After a few players got off to a rough start the team regained its composure to finish strong with a 208. Badin took 1st with 198 with Eaton 3rd at 209 and Carroll 4th with 223.

The match was highlighted with sophomore Megan Fosburg leading the team with a 47 and senior Emma Thayer making birdie after hitting her tee shot to within 12 inches of the cup on a tricky par three, sixth hole.

Northmont volleyball

loses to Centerville

CENTERVILLE – The Centerville girls volleyball team defeated Northmont on Thursday in three sets 25-14, 25-14, 25-10.

Mialee Dabbelt led the Lady Elks with 15 kills, two service aces and seven digs. Reese Wuebker had 11 kills and 20 total service points. Paityn Krause had 29 assists and Payton Miller had 11 total service points and 12 digs.
