ARCANUM — With a score of 375 the Brookville varsity golf team placed 8th in the Brookville Invitational held Thursday at Beechwood Golf Course.
Drew Holt led Brookville with a low round of 87 followed by Landon Trent (93), Jackson Kleismit (97), and Troy Peak (98). Scores not factored in the team total was a 106 by Isaiah Hoff and 107 by Daelon Wackerman.
Fort Loramie took 1st place with a 327 followed by Dixie (336), Waynesville (338), Middletown Christian (344), Bellbrook (352), Miami East (361), Versailles (364), Brookville (375), Valley View (379), Milton-Union (386), Preble Shawnee (393), Eaton (401), Madison (407), Franklin (416), and Tri-County North (462).
On Monday, Aug. 7 the Blue Devils placed 3rd in the SWBL Tournament at Beechwood.
Waynesville took 1st place with a score of 178 followed by Carlisle (182), Brookville (190), Valley View (195), Eaton (196), Oakwood (196), and Madison (205).
