Rotary Junction ready for fair

In 2006, a new covered shelter was added by the Eaton Rotary Club. Steve Simmons, the Eaton Rotary Club President at the time explained that renovating the old rabbit and goat barn, creating a rest area and socializing spot for visitors was important. It is now known as “Rotary Junction.” This year, State Representative Rodney Creech along with local volunteers cleaned up Rotary Junction, planted flowers, and got it ready for the 173rd year of the Preble County Fair. Thanks also to the Eaton Rotary Club led by current President Todd Darr, and all the volunteers who are working the fair ticket gates this week. Part of the money raised from ticket sales helps fund local projects around the community.
