EATON — It’s time again for the Preble County Chamber of Commerce’s annual Golf Classic.

The Chamber Classic draws participants from across the county and beyond, and proceeds help to fund scholarships for local high school students and other Chamber initiatives.

“The Golf Classic is always a fun event,” said Karen Moss, the Chamber’s Executive Director. “Last year we had 29 teams of golfers and more than 50 sponsors and donors. Of course, we’re hoping to have even more in 2023.”

The event will be held on Friday, Aug. 18, at the Beechwood Golf Course in Arcanum and includes door prizes, a 50/50 raffle and more.

Presenting sponsors for the event include Reid Health, Kettering Health and Indiana University (IU) East.

“In addition to some great golf, the event provides a variety of opportunities for sponsorships which area businesses can utilize to promote their services or products,” Moss stated. “All of our sponsors are acknowledged with signage the day of the event and on our social media accounts. And most important, their support of the event helps local youth through our scholarship program.”

To register a team for the annual Golf Classic or to view sponsorship opportunities, visit the Preble County Chamber website at https://www.preblecountyohio.com/chamber-classic, send an email to [email protected] or call 937-456-4949.
