All the people listed as “arrested” or “charged” are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Friday, June 9, Brookville Report 23-00231: Police responded to the Brookville Inn on the report of two disorderly female subjects throwing items at each other. One female was issued a notice of criminal trespass.

Clayton Report 230000643: A 92-year-old female sent two checks to addresses in Georgia and Massachusetts when she was contacted by phone by a male with a foreign accent advising she owed money for her Spectrum account. One check totaled $249.11 and the second check $198.53. The same male called again requesting a payment of $399.99 but she did not send the check. She contacted her bank who advised her to call the police. She is closing her bank account.

Saturday, June 10, Clayton Report 230000648: Police responded to the 8300 block of N. Main St. where a vehicle was speeding without its lights on at 9:57 p.m. The vehicle struck another vehicle and began spinning out of control through two front yards causing property damage before striking a street sign and utility pole. The driver was intoxicated and transported to Miami Valley Hospital North for treatment. Anastasia Smith, 23, of Clayton 45415, was charged with operating a vehicle intoxicated and reckless operation and issued a court summons.

Sunday, June 11, Brookville Report 23-00232: A citizen approached two officers and turned over a My Premier credit card he found on Market Street. The name on the card was Michael Roy. Officers were unable to find anyone with this name. The credit card was placed into evidence.

Clayton Report 230000650: Police responded to Prospect Avenue on the report of a dog biting another dog. One dog reached through a gap in the fence to bite the neighbor’s dog. No charges were filed as the case is a civil matter.

Monday, June 12, Brookville Report 23-00234: An iPhone 11 was found at Rhoads Dentistry and turned over to police. The phone was locked and couldn’t be searched to discover the owner.

Tuesday, June 13, Clayton Report 230000656: A male subject was issued a trespass warning on Whitaker Street.

Clayton Report 230000660: A temporary protection order violation was reported on Takisa Circle. Charges were forwarded to court for review by a prosecutor.

Englewood Report 230000942: Police responded to Waffle House on the report of a suspicious person. A male subject stated he had just been released from Miami Valley Hospital North and wanted an officer to give him a ride to the Shell station at Olive Road and Third Street. The officer discovered the male was a wanted subject. Roy L. Brawner, 62, of Dayton 45414, was arrested on a warrant issued by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office. He was transported to the county jail.

Wednesday, June 14, Brookville Report 23-00237: Darell D. Irons, 26, of Columbus, was arrested by Military Police at Wright Patterson Air Force Base on a Brookville warrant for possession of drugs. Irons was turned over to a Brookville officer and transported to the county jail.

Brookville Report 23-00238: An employee of Holiday Inn Express, an adult male, was reported missing. Dayton Police located the male on June 15 on Fairview Avenue.

Clayton Report 230000663: An online scam was reported on Greenmanor Court.

Englewood Report 230000955: Police responded to the Vineyard Apartments on the report of a suspicious vehicle in the lot occupied by a male subject. Alston T.M. Sanders, 21, of Clayton 45415, was charged with possession of drugs, issued a court summons, and released.

Thursday, June 15, Clayton Report 230000670: A subject wished to file an assault complaint for an incident that took place in January. An officer told the complainant since the incident took place six months ago charges might not be accepted by the court.

Englewood Report 230000956: A missing 13-year-old female was reported in the 4300 block of Sarah Dr.

Union Report 23-000000222: Christian G. Fox, 19, of Miamisburg, was arrested in Preble County on a warrant out of Union for telecommunications harassment. Fox was turned over to a Union officer and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

Friday, June 16, Clayton Report 230000671: Misuse of a credit card was reported in the 8500 block of N. Main St. A subject advised that someone had used her Lowe’s credit card to make a purchase totaling $12,000.

Englewood Report 230000963: Breck G. Bombach, 69, at large, was charged with theft at Meijer and was trespassed from the property at the request of store security personnel. Bombach was transported to the county jail.

Monday, June 19, Englewood Report 230000973: David Goodall, 56, of Dayton 45406, was charged with theft at Meijer, issued a court summons and released.
