The following information has been provided by Northmont area police departments. The information listed in this column is considered public record and is available to anyone seeking information concerning what is provided below.

For purposes of this column, the term “arrested” or “charged” does not necessarily mean the person was taken into physical custody. It could also indicate that a summons was issued to the subject in lieu of physical custody.

All the people listed as “arrested” or “charged” are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Saturday, Feb. 25, Clayton 23-0000216: An unknown subject entered a pair of vehicles parked in a driveway in the 6000 block of Cheri Lynne Dr. and removed loose change and a work bag containing pens, a TENS unit and miscellaneous paperwork from the victim’s job (Kettering Health Network) as well as an access card.

Clayton 23-0000217: Aline Uwineza, 23, of Trotwood, was charged with no operator’s license and speeding, issued a court summons and released.

Clayton 23-0000218: Karla J. Kline, 39, of West Milton, was charged with operating a vehicle intoxicated and rules for turns at intersections after being involved in a hit and run accident. Kline was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

Englewood 23-0000324: Brian S. Chafin, 37, of Dayton 45449, was charged with theft at Meijer and was arrested on a warrant out of Miami Township for failure to appear. He was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

Sunday, Feb. 26, Brookville 23-00070: An unknown subject egged a house in the 300 block of Sunrise Ave. Yolk marks were found on the garage door and front window of the home with broken shells found in the driveway and shell pieces in the mulch beneath the window.

Clayton 23-0000221: The theft of a handgun from an unlocked house was reported in the 7200 block of Mintwood Ave.

Englewood 23-0000326: Police responded to a fight in progress outside the Clarion Inn. Tanisha D. Davis, 36, of Dayton 45406, was charged with illegal possession of firearm in a liquor permit premises, disorderly conduct while intoxicated, and resisting arrest. Damion T. Booth, 38, of Dayton 45417, was charged with disorderly conduct while intoxicated, and resisting arrest by force causing physical harm to law enforcement officer. Davis and Booth were transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

Englewood 23-0000332: Milea L. Bradfield, 40, of Dayton 45406, was charged with theft at Walmart and was arrested on a warrant through Dayton police. She was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

Englewood 23-0000334: Jamie R. Compton, 39, of Clayton 45315, was charged with theft at Meijer, issued a court summons and released.

Englewood 23-0000336: Kamiah Marquetta Donae Miles, 18, of Dayton 45406, was charged with theft at her place of employment, Walmart. She was issued a court summons and released.

Monday, Feb. 27, Englewood 23-0000223: An unknown subject entered the cab of a Coca-Cola delivery truck at Nick’s Food Mart and removed a backpack containing various chargers, a battery pack, food and a Beats headphone and case.

Clayton 23-0000224: An unknown subject entered an unlocked vehicle on Dorshire Court and stole a Springfield XDS nine millimeter handgun and holster.

Tuesday, Feb. 28, Clayton 23-0000226: At 5:35 a.m. officers were dispatched to the area of Savina Avenue on the report of a black male attempting to break into vehicles in both Clayton and Englewood. Officers located the subject and found him in possession of Wendy’s gift cards, an Amazon gift card, Dairy Queen gift card, Speedy rewards card, Chipotle gift card, earbuds, socks, a clear plastic bag full of loose change and miscellaneous paper currency, a pink and yellow change purse, lighters, THC gummy bears and a cell phone. Police were then dispatched to the 5600 block of Savina where a resident had surveillance footage of the suspect going through three unlocked vehicles parked in his driveway. James L. Cahall, 19, of Dayton 45405, was charged with theft and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

Englewood 23-0000338: Roger A. Brassfield, 36, of Kettering, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Natalie M. Edmonson, 21, at large, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, theft at Meijer and obstructing official business and was arrested on an active warrant. Brassfield and Edmonson were transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

Wednesday, March 1, Brookville 23-00078: Joy L. Wieland, 52, of Englewood, was charged with no operator’s license and expired registration. Her vehicle was towed. She was issued a court summons.

Englewood 23-0000347: A 16-year-old female was arrested on a warrant out of Trotwood and released to a Trotwood officer.

Thursday, March 2, Brookville 23-00079: Roy D. Clemons, 45, of Brookville, was charged with domestic violence and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

Englewood 23-0000364: Police responded to the area of Hoke Road and I-70 on a crash with the vehicle fleeing the accident scene. An officer located the vehicle with heavy front end damage and made a traffic stop. Steven W. Jacobs, 54, of Columbus, was charged with operating a vehicle intoxicated and operating a vehicle intoxicated over the legal limit. He registered at .159 percent on a breath intoxilyzer test. He was issued a court summons and released to a sober driver.

Englewood 23-0000362: Adaira C. Johnson, 24, at large, was charged with theft at Walmart and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

Friday, March 3, Clayton 23-0000239: An unknown subject entered three vehicles parked in a driveway in the 5200 block of Hillgrove Ave. and removed $30 from one vehicle.

Saturday, March 4, Englewood 23-0000373: Alyssa Dickerson, 26, of West Alexandria, was charged with theft at Meijer. She was issued a written trespass notice for a period of three years and released with a court summons.

Sunday, March 5, Englewood 23-0000379: Amy S. Williams, 39, of Fairborn, was charged with theft and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was issued a court summons and released.

Englewood 23-0000378: A 13-year-old female was reported as a missing / runaway in the 4300 block of Sarah Dr.

Monday, March 6, Englewood 23-0000388: Chad Cohn, 47, of Brookville, was arrested on a warrant out of Preble County for theft and was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

Tuesday, March 7, Englewood 23-0000396: Judy K. Ricketts, 66, of Dayton 45416, was charged with theft at Meijer and transported to the Montgomery County Jail. Her daughter, Ashley Grennell, 36, at large, fled the scene. A warrant was issued for her arrest.

Englewood 23-0000397: Amie M. Raines, 41, of Englewood, was issued a pair of court summons for control of dogs and registration of dogs after her dogs jumped a four foot chain link fence and attacked a neighbor’s dog and the owner.
