EATON, Ohio – U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown convened a roundtable discussion with community and business leaders in Preble County at the City of Eaton’s Fire Station#2 on Wednesday, Aug. 3.
“Local roundtables are an opportunity to learn about the needs of each of Ohio’s counties by talking to local leaders and community members,” said Brown. “We had a productive discussion today in Preble County about how to make our communities a better place to live, work, and raise a family.”
Brown has held more than 200 roundtable listening sessions across Ohio’s 88 counties with students, local leaders, business owners, educators, workers, and families to find ways to rebuild and strengthen the nation’s economy.
“This gives me an opportunity to hear from people about what congress, what the senate should be doing or not doing. I’ve done a couple of hundred of these around the state because they really do give a pretty good cross section of a community. It covers most of everything,” Brown said last week.
