CAMDEN — On Thursday, March 24, Jeff Gamble, founder of the “Brandy Brandenburg Golf Outing” attended the Camden-Somers Township Fire Department’s business meeting to present a donation to the CSTFD for two new “task force” tips nozzles.

The purpose of the golf outing is to raise money to give back to the community like Brandenburg always did, according to organizers. The Camden-Somers Township Fire Department was the recipient of the first donation from the golf outing.

Chief Taylor and Lieutenant Josh Forrer worked with Chris Antle from Finley Fire and Kevin Briggs from Task Force Tips to try and make the nozzles special in memory of Brandenburg.

“Through them, we were able to get the Bale and the Grip Pink on both Nozzles, and on the couplings we had “In memory of Brandy Brandenburg” engraved,” Forrer said in a press release.

“Kevin graciously donated the custom colors and the engraving for us,” Forrer said.

“We really wanted to make the nozzles special, for you and for Brandy. Now every time we go into a fire and open that nozzle, we can look down and know that we are not alone,” Taylor said.

On behalf of the Camden-Somers Township Fire & EMS, we would like to Thank Jeff and his wife Shirley for the generous donation to help us update our equipment.
