LEWISBURG — The Tri-County North golf team had a busy week.
On Monday, Aug. 29, the Panthers lost to Newton, 194-170. They rebounded on Tuesday, Aug. 30, against Bethel, winning 187-212. On Thursday, Sept.1, the team beat Covington, 172-220.
The win against Covington was North’s best performance of the season thus far, and many players broke personal records.
“The team is really playing with a purpose,” said coach Tyler Jewell.
TCN is currently 3-2 in the Cross County Conference.
Averages through the year to date are: Brett Booso, 43; Zack Tincher, 43; Ethan Kelley, 48; Bailey Lairson, 51; Brandon Parsons, 54; Alec Wayman, 55; Preston Lairson, 57 and Spencer Brehm, 61.
The Panthers were scheduled to play on Tuesday, Sept. 6 at Arcanum.
