TROY — The National Trail track team sent five members to the Region-12 Division III tournament held at Troy last week.

On Wednesday, May 25, the Blazers’ team of Josh Cook, Lane Unger, Adam Eyler, and Josh Bishop appeared in the boys 4×800 meter relay. They did their best to place, but finished only 15th in the race.

On Friday, May 27, Lane Unger took part in the 3200-meter run. With a time of 11:58, he crossed the line in last place in the field of fifteen and saw his junior season come to an end.

With the loss, National Trail’s track season ends, with coach Brad Hampton preparing for the off-season to help build up his future team for next year.
