Eagles beat Bellbrook

BELLBROOK — Eaton’s baseball team opened Southwestern Buckeye League Southwestern Division play with a 6-2 win over host Bellbrook on Monday, April 4.

Junior pitcher Trevor Pittman was in control the entire game tossing six innings of one hit ball. He struck out nine en route to the win.

Bradley Curry pitched an inning and struck out two without giving up a hit.

Donnie Nicodemus collected a pair of hits, while Colton Gray, Blake Curry, Bradley Curry, Lew Bowser, and Henry Durham each had a hit.

The Eagles (2-1, 1-0 SWBL) are scheduled to host Lemon Monroe on Friday, April 8, before hosting Tippecanoe on Satruday at 3 p.m. Eaton will visit Oakwood on Monday, April 11 and host Franklin on Tuesday.
