Girls Soccer

The Eaton girls’ soccer team earned its third win in a row when the Eagles shut out Talawanda 3-0 on Tuesday, Oct. 6.

“We controlled this one from the start,” said head coach Michael Bacher.

Kate Bulach, Jessica Spitler, and Hallie Wit scored goals during the game. Lauren Ferguson and Spitler were each awarded an assist as well.

The Eagles also played Valley View later in the week, losing 6-1. Chelsea Cruze scored the lone goal for Eaton off a pass from Emily Dungan.

Tri-County North tied Carlisle 1-1, getting their goal from Hailey Thies. Megan Hemp was awarded with the assist.

They then traveled to National Trail, where they won 3-0, getting goals from Thies, Andrea Combs, and Makayla Toohey. The assists were awarded to Thies (2) and Liv Baldasare.

Boys soccer

Eaton boys’ soccer lost two matches this week, falling to Talawanda 6-0 on Tuesday , Oct. 6 before getting shut out by Valley View 3-0 on Thursday, Oct. 8.

Twin Valley South boys soccer lost two matches this week, dropping a 2-1 game to Botkins on Tuesday, Oct. 6 and a 6-0 loss to Bethel on Thursday, Oct. 8.
