WEST ALEXANDRIA — The Twin Valley South boys soccer team had only one match this week. The Panthers knotted a 3-3 tie on the road against Union County on Wednesday, Aug. 26.

South was up 3-0 going into the half, with two goals from Aaron McKee and one by Daniel Page. At the beginning of the second half, however, they gave up two quick scores to Union County. A penalty against the Panthers allowed for the equalizer.

“We had several opportunities but could not get the winning goal,” said South head coach Eric Staggs.

The tie brings South’s record to 0-1-1 currently. They opened up their season with a 0-5 loss to Miami Valley on Saturday, Aug. 22.

The Panthers have two games this week as were scheduled to travel to Dixie for a match-up against the Greyhounds on Tuesday, Sept. 1 before hosting rival Tri-County North on Thursday, Aug. 3 at 7:15 p.m.
