CAMDEN — Camden resident and 21-time International Professional Rodeo Association world champion Shawn Minor lost his home to a fire early in summer 2014. Everything his family owned on the upstairs floor of their house was lost. When Tommie Copper, the active-wear company for which Minor is an ambassador, learned of the fire, company founder Tom Kallish brought a construction crew to Preble County to help Minor rebuild his home. The family, which includes the Minors’ three children, has been sleeping in the trailer they use when they travel to rodeos.“It’s home away from home, but it’s a little tough to live in all the time with the kids, but it’s okay, we made it work,” Minor’s wife Tara Minor said.
