EATON — On Saturday, June 28, the Preble County Stingrays will host their 7th annual Preble County Invitational Swim Meet.

This is not just any invitational. At this meet, the Stingrays also host at the same time a “Breast Stroke for Breast Cancer” campaign.

The team has raised $2,600 to date for the cause.

This year, the Preble County Stingrays is inviting everyone to join them in fighting against breast cancer. At the invitational, they will have information available to increase awareness and help educate the public. In addition, the Stingrays will donate all of the proceeds from the breast stroke events to breast cancer research.

Consider joining the Stingrays in their effort to snuff out this dreaded disease by sharing this information with friends and family. They can sponsor a breast stroke event in memory or honor of someone they love. Sponsorships will run $25 and will be annoucned during each event and listed in the program. Also, families may have a loved one listed on a “Heroes and Inspiration” page in the program. Cost is $10. Of course, sponsorship is not limited to individuals. Businesses and teams can also sponsor an event.
